About Us

Louise and Richard Cook are Pastors of Streams of Refreshing Church in Albany, Louisiana. 

In 1980, Louise experienced a two-fold miracle that would change her life. Not only did God heal her premature son of pneumonia, but He also saved a desperate mother. Louise gave her heart to Christ when she was twenty-three. In 1988 after an 18-week training, Louise was placed on a deliverance team to assist her pastors. Louise was launched into ministry after the Lord showed her that she was to train others on incorporating flags and banners with worship using a manual she developed. 

In 2012, Louise came alongside Kristen Kellett, to launch A Door of Hope Ministries, a ministry for women recovering from trauma. Louise served on the Board and as Support Director until Kristen moved the ministry to Florida in 2021. Louise remains on the Board. Louise was ordained in 2019, through Christian International, under the covering of Bishop Bill Hamon. In 2017, God gave Louise a dream to open a church that would focus on raising up strong leaders. 

In 2019, her dream came to pass, and Streams of Refreshing was birthed. Louise has a desire to develop young leaders to maturity so they can impact their community. Monthly, Louise hosts a Miracle Deliverance Meeting. Many have been set free and continue to attend other teachings including Ministering Spiritual Gifts. She is currently writing manuals for publication which include Deliverance, Continuing the Book of Acts and others. She is a reproducer of reproducers. 

She continues to dive deep into the things of God, through training, personal studies, and conferences such as Christian International IGAP.  She is a woman of God on the move…till He comes.
